Open Living installed four sets of our best-selling bifolding doors. Our work comprises three sets on the main back elevation with a further set on the side.
The doors sit within the new brickwork structure. There is a six panel set in the middle with a three-panel set on each side. The return elevation has another three panel set.
In order to ensure the best possible use of the bifolding doors, all sets comprise a traffic door. The centre six panel set in particular, has the lead doors in the middle, acting as conventional French doors. As a result, the family can use any of the traffic doors on any of the four sets to go outside. Lead doors is another word for traffic doors. In the summer when all the doors open, the doors neatly fold against the structural brick columns. Therefore, not only do you maximise the available openings you also create a stunning open space.
For the hardware, every door comprises the Hafi handle upgrade. Hafi handles come in brushed satin stainless steel as well as a separate cylinder escutcheon. The inside of the doors features intermediate handles also allowing the locking of all the remaining door panels.
For the glass, toughened glass offers safety and security. Additionally, the door glass provides great thermal performance. As standard, we provide our doors with glass having a soft-coat low-emissivity coating, warm edge spacer bars and argon gas fill.
