Hitchin, Black Origin bifolds with integral blinds.

Property Description

A garage conversion in Hitchin, Hertfordshire with two sets of black powder coated Origin bifolding doors.

Work Carried Out

Our market-leading Origin bifolding doors are fitted to this detached garage conversion on the front elevation between the central timber post.

The bifolds are both in a three panel design, one set folding to the right, the other to the left, viewed from the outside. Bifolding doors have the convenient traffic door, enabling easy entry and exit without having to fold all the panels back.

To keep the threshold sight lines low, the bifold doors are ‘face-drained’ meaning that no additional cill is required, reducing the height at the base of the doors by 18mm.

The glass in the doors is the Screenline integral glass blind. Integral blinds provide privacy and shade with contrasting colour blinds hermetically sealed in the double glazed unit.  The blinds are controlled from inside the doors with magnets that operate both the lowering and raising of the blinds as well as the tilting of the slats.
